Burgess Hill’s Golf Professional, Ryan Fitzgerald shared 1st place in the 2016 PGA Cottesmore Pro Am this week with a superb 4 under par.
Ryan had a fast start making birdies at holes 1,2,5 and 9 and then secured the top spot with a steady back nine finish.
“I holed a handful of good putts on the front nine and gave myself more chances of birdies on the back nine but could not convert, so in hindsight I feel I had potential to shoot lower which is good to know. I have had some good results so far this season and I put that down to the hard work and practice I have been doing. Also big thanks to my continued support from my sponsor Bedford Insurance Services. Here’s hoping my good form continues!”
