Strength to strength for Ryan Fitzgerald!

Burgess Hill Golf Centre Professional Ryan Fitzgerald has just finished a sensational year of golf with some fantastic scores on both the County and PGA Regional Circuit!

Ryan finished the year as the Sussex Order of Merit No.1 with two wins, one of which was a blistering 5 under par at the ‘Wellesley Wealth Advisory’ PGA Pro-Am played at Mid Sussex Golf Club. A great round of golf which included no fewer than 8 birdies!

Ryan also participated in many South of England PGA Tournaments throughout the year winning 4 times over all and amassing over £11,000 in prize money. During the South Region schedule, Ryan’s highlight was a jaw dropping score of 9 under par for a single round of golf.

RF – “Very happy with my performances this year. Its been pretty hectic with the usual PGA Events as well as invites from the Challenge Tour which tend to be four day tournaments. Also very pleased to get to the final qualifying stage for The British Open but the field of players were incredibly strong and included former US Open Champion Graeme McDowell! – Another yearly big thanks, to my sponsor Mark Hare – Bedford Insurance Group and to Lea Cooper my own Coach who has helped me greatly with my swing and preparation for tournaments. Now the season is quieting down i’m looking forward to working with my own pupils at the Driving Range and of course Christmas time with family!”
